Exposure Award 2019 in collaboration with Greenhouse

On Friday 24 May, the big final of the ICTalent Awards will be held in "De Effenaar". The winners will go home with a voucher valued at EUR 2000 per person. The 2019 Audience Award will also be decided. This year, for the first time ever, we will also be awarding the 2019 Exposure Award. This award will be presented by Greenhouse (one of the Partners in Education of Fontys School of ICT) to the participant that has managed to create the best online exposure for the product in the weeks leading up to the event.

Workshop on creating exposure

On Wednesday 24 April, all participants were invited to attend a workshop on creating online exposure held by Greenhouse. This also functioned as the kick-off to start with the plan to generate as much possible exposure for your product/idea. Martijn van Meel (Creative Director) and Tim Deynen (Creative Strategist) shared their latest tips en tricks on, among others, how to reach your target group and what precisely you should and should not do. Various techniques and models were also covered. After the explanation, the participants were given the opportunity to immediately apply what they have learned in practice. They started working on product proposition, SWOT analysis, Empathy Map and content planning. The workshop was concluded with a casual (networking) cocktail hour. 

2019 Exposure Award
The winner of the 2019 Exposure Award wins a workshop organised by Greenhouse valued at EUR 1500. This workshop will be tailor-made to suit the information need of the winning participant. This may include, for example, creating a chatbot or team building. The winner will also receive a VIP invitation for the bi-monthly FF404 networking cocktail hour at Greenhouse. 

Get started!
The participants have already started to work. On 20 May, they will be required to submit their proof: what have they been doing, how did they do it, and perhaps most importantly, did they achieve results? The experts of Greenhouse will ultimately choose the participant who was able to generate the most exposure as based on three criteria: exposure, creativity and storytelling. The winner will be announced live on stage at the big final on 24 May in "De Effenaar"! 

This is a great example of the collaboration between our students and work field in exchanging knowledge and expertise.
